The intense character of timber frames can be exposed to it's fullest extent in its new environment

100-200 years ago, our salvaged timber frames were new, beautifully constructed barns. Through the past century they have become worn and in some cases neglected entirely. Others are no longer needed and stand in the way of new development. We dismantle these structures one piece at a time - carefully tagging and marking each one. After transport to our facilities we clean, sort, and make any needed repairs.

Reconstruction on your property is done with the same care and attention using all original mortise and tenon joinery. It is truly rewarding to us and an awe inspiring accomplishment when an antique frame is erected and standing as it first did over a hundred years ago.

Our new beams are cut from salvaged logs as a way to recycle previously cut trees. We can cut a complete barn frame from new, fencerow timber and construct it with traditional mortise and tenon joinery. We encouarge you to consider this option when searching for new material in larger dimensions.

Give us a call; we love to talk timber frames and how they can fit into your personal or professional lifestyle.
