Being green is proper resource managmement

Being green begins with imagining the possibilities of materials found all around us. We creatively reuse our materials so they can reach their full potential. Building a structure (or piece of furniture), refinishing a room, or simply matching existing molding are all opportunities to give vintage lumber another life.

New wood has its place and we wouldn’t be where we are today by using only reclaimed wood. By using what resources we can from existing structures before turning to new wood, we are doing our part in living a lower environmental impact lifestyle. This will in time, allow trees to continue to grow back into forests they once were.
